Status Codes

WBAR uses a single letter code to identify the status of an account. The account status determines how WBAR handles the account when processes are run. For example, an account with an I status (Inactive) is not billed when calculations are made for new billing charges.  The status of an account is changed by using the drop down list in the Customer View/Edit screen. Click on the down pointing arrow and the list of available status choices will appear. Click on your choice and the status change will be recorded.

The status choices are :

Only A, F, and V status accounts will come up in the meter reading entry form when the account is coded for either water or sewer service. However, the V status accounts will not be billed.

I status accounts will accept payments.

You may only have one account with A or F per account number. You may have other accounts with the same number but not using A or F as a status. In this way, you may retain Inactive accounts under the same number but only the Active or Final account will be billed. The Active account will always appear at the top of the account list when viewing accounts in account order.
