Q : Why does Tri C issue free technical upgrades to its WBAR for Windows programs ?
A: There are actually three good reasons Tri C releases free technical and feature upgrades.
To keep WBAR compatible with the newest versions of Microsoft Windows and hardware
To correct programming bugs and glitches reported by our user group
Q: What is the difference between a technical upgrade and a feature upgrade ?
A: Technical upgrades contain program changes that generally do not affect the way WBAR looks. The technical change is "internal" and may only affect device compatibility, math functions, or performance issues. A feature upgrade includes new design features which add to the ease of use and data management capabilities of the program.
Q. What is the difference between and update and an upgrade ?
A. Updates are free and usually involve code fixes to some portion of the program. They could also contain updates of drivers, runtime DLL files, report templates or other types of files used by WBAR. Updates should be downloaded and installed whenever the become available in order to keep your up with the latest build.
Q: Do I have to upgrade my programs when a new version comes out ?
A: No, all upgrades are optional. However, to continue to receive technical support, you must upgrade to the latest version.
